Laurence Bentley FCA
Laurence was born and bred in Otley but has lived in Bingley for a number of years. He became a partner in 1980.
He has wide experience of the accountancy and taxation requirements for owner managed businesses and individuals with farming being a particular interest. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Tax Faculty and also of their Farming and Rural Business Group.
John Farndale FCA
John joined the Harrogate office in 1979 and became a partner in 1981. Born in Northallerton, but educated in Hampshire, he qualified in 1974 with the international practice of Deloitte & Co in Southampton before leaving as a manager to return to Yorkshire where he undertakes general practice work with particular emphasis on Corporate and Business Management assignments.
David Eadon FCA
David is a native of Northamptonshire who has been living in Yorkshire for over thirty years.
David was educated at Daventry Grammar School and went on to obtain an Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. On moving to Leeds David trained with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co (now KPMG), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1981.
David joined Leslie Bray & Co in 1981, becoming a partner in 1988 and manages a varied portfolio of clients.
